When a child reaches 'marriageable age' especially a girl, the entire household becomes restless as 'the task' must be carried out in full force as soon as possible. This observation became the basis of this short comic written and illustrated by me.
The Photo aims to examine interpersonal conflict and notions of identity through a story tracing a fraught mother - daughter relationship.
